Gilbert James is a Land Surveyor; Managing Director of Willyjay Events Consult and young active citizen living and working in Abuja, Nigeria. Gilbert has 3 years experience as a practising Land Surveyor and 10 years experience as an Event Management consultant. He was nominated in January, 2018 by Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Abuja face-to-face for best Entrepreneurs' award, two time winner of best Table Topic Presenter in May and June by Grand City Toastmasters, Abuja. Gilbert James graduated from University of Jos, he earned his B.Sc in Geography and Planning. As an undergraduate he saw the need and too the lead by empowering over five hundred (500) youth and women in his community who were bedevilled by poverty and hunger in 2003, he volunteered with Hope Foundation to train teenagers between age 11-18 years , he has been involved in many voluntary services. He is member of Junior Chambers International, Abuja Unity, YALI, and Beenet Empowerment Scheme. Gilbert is interested in poverty reduction through Entrepreneurship, Safe and Clean Environment and Public health.
