Veronica Ijeweche Agana a young active citizen living and working in Kaduna, Nigeria. She is the founder of WastePlus Environmental Services which offers safe, affordable and ecofriendly waste management services to low and medium income communities and also the convener of #Project100Communities which promotes attitudinal change towards environment amongst citizens. Veronica has about 10 years’ experience spanning Environmental management, Human Resources Management, Customer Relations and Advocacy. Veronica a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University where she earned Bachelor’s Degree in Biology 2006. She is also an alumnus of Bayero University Kano where she obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in management and MBA (Human Resources). Veronica is an alumni of Accelerate Labs of the Future Project where she was awarded one of the Best Business Idea in North West region 2018. She is also member of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Veronica is an active member of YALI Network Face2Face group Kaduna Chapter. She volunteers with Relay4Life where citizens where trained to become self-reliant and have further obtained credit facility from Bank of Industry to aid 30 participants kick start their business. Her areas of interest include Environment, Entrepreneurship, Women & youth empowerment, Business Performance and Good Governance. And uses her networks on social media to promote made in Nigeria goods. She joined SI4DEV to further advance her works in community.
