Ernest Mensah has over five years experience in the estate development sector as a building supervisor and Industrial electrical technician. He is a site manager for Monumental Stone Construction Company Nigeria, where he specializes in designing, planning/modeling building control systems and construction of commercial/domestic buildings. Ernest holds a Diploma in industrial electrical engineering, Bsc in building technology, also is a member of the chartered institute of building, Uk. Ernest is driven by his commitment to improve poverty reduction, food security and sustainable rural development by promoting gender equality in all levels of education and empower women and with time see a new diverse Africa where women make up about 45% startup ecosystem- Diversity in entrepreneurship. He is currently running the Corhort 5 Young African Leadership Intiative training and at the completion of the YALI RLC West Africa program, Ernest intends to further his work in ensuring the women especially in the rural community are given a platform to learn and grow in any area of their interest.
