The project was centered on the following;
1. Sensitisation on Novel Coronavirus and the precautionary/hygiene practices for prevention.
2. Distribution of relief materials(food stuffs) to 44 families in 4 different locations. Each food package contained at least;
Rice – 1kg
Beans – 2kg
Garri – 2kg
Noodles – 2 mini pack
Sachet Tomato – 2sachet
Palm oil – 50cl
3. Display of COVID-19 banners and distribution of stickers.
For the implementation of this project, we partnered with four local churches in Agbura and Azikoro communities. To maintain social distancing and social gathering rule. We informed partner churches to nominate ten (10) families each. Their role is simple and well stated: To look out for the vulnerable or families in need within or around the church. Each family is to be represented by a member strictly on the implementation date (15/04/2020).
