As part of SI4DEV’s Covid-19 intervention project, we were give funds to carry out an orientation and food response. The project was carried out successfully with little hitches hovering around the lockdown situation in the FCT. As stated above, the project initially impacted twenty (20) but was extended to twenty two (22) households with the permission of the program manager, Patricia N. Okolo because we had a balance of #5,500 after the first phase.
All the impacted households/families were invited to the location football field where they were first of all given orientation and fliers on Covid-19 preventive measures before the food items were finally shared. Present was also one of the leaders and other members of the community.
