The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.

As the SI4DEV Partners go into the mentoring module for the second half of the program, it reminds me of the fact that at different stages of our lives we are engaged in the process of gaining fresh or amending existing knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, or preferences for efficiency and effectiveness. The ability to learn is possessed by humans, animals, and some machines

Learning is a process — a journey not just an act. A self – directed learning process is arguably the most powerful model for facilitating and inspiring individual, group and organizational learning and development. The willingness to learn is a choice that everyone has been gifted with. Everyday life throws at us, opportunities to learn, but we decide whether or not to utilize these opportunities.

Although there are different avenues of learning, reading presents a window for the reader to learn from the knowledge and experiential point of view of the writer. In the words of Dr. Seuss “The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you will go”

  1. Improvement is something that is required of us all and the best way to maintain it is a continuous learning process that must not stop. As the saying goes when you stop learning you start decaying.

You truly want to reign? Then you must give in to learning and do it real good.

Thanks for reminding me of my responsibility..
