Biographical Info
Ettoh Oghenekefe is a young strategic individual passionate about gender equality, youth and community development. He is a biochemistry graduate from the University of Benin, Benin city. Ettoh has over five years experience in the non profit sector. where he has functioned in principal roles. He started his career in the nonprofit sector with the Nigerian Red Cross Society (UNIBEN Detachment) where he served as a one time Diretor of Welfare and Treasurer. With this organization, Ettoh was able to train over a thousand students in first aid and disaster management. Also, he was able to organize sensitization and awareness programs that helped impact the lives of hundreds of persons. With a team, he was able to initiate the first ever swimming and drowning training course that the institution had ever had. Ettoh was also a team member of recruitment team that helped the society recruit over five hundred members in four years. Ettoh is also a skilled public communicator and career coach. Presently, he is a career coach with Junior Achievement Nigeria, JAN. He is also a member and content developer with Nirmala Chellarams Centre for Entrepreneurship Skills; a centre where he took part in a first ever DashOut one-week leadership program. Ettoh enjoys writing and has trained himself in this act where he now develops ontents for different platforms and organizations. Currently, he is a content developer with Phenomenal African Women Foundation. Ettoh is presently an intern with International School of Management, ISM and an Ambassador with Strategy and Innovation for Development Initiative, SI4DEV. Passionate about helping young individuals develop a bright future, Ettoh volunteers with Save the Future Initiative, SDFI, where with a team, they focus non the need to sensitize young ones on the need to lead a good life and pay attention to education. If not working, Ettoh enjoys listening to good music, playing football, spending quality time with family, eating good healthy meal and surfing the net.
