SI4DEV Uyo location group joined the rest of the world to celebrate international women’s day. The event which was held in Uyo on 10th March 2018 targeted community youth leaders who are willing to volunteer as change agents to speak against gender based violence . The theme for the day was ” Understanding the Rights of women and girls: Ending gender based violence among women and girls.
At the end of the day, 20 (6 males and 14 females) youths volunteered to be part of SI4DEV Uyo location group. SI4DEV is indeed contributing in raising community change agents, we are pressing for progress! See pictures below:
