SECOND MEETING REPORT FOR KANO NASSARAWA

MINUTE OF THE LAST STRATEGY AND INNOVATION FOR DEVELOPMENT (SI4DEV) MEETING HELD 14TH APRIL, 2018
The meeting started at about 1:16pm at Kano state library with members introducing their selves.
The last minute report was read by Mr. Hezekiah. Miss Tomisin being the moderator says she is sorry for the minute not being printed.
Mr Babatunde says everything has processes and the process must be followed in choosing leaders, looking at 26 members in the group chat but few members in our meetings, this he calls for sacrifice in all we do.

FEED BACK ON ACTION PLAN
Mr Sadisu started by being sorry for putting everything in place because of his exams. He spoke of plan B as contacting some organisations who are good in insecticide control and some community, youth be choosing and train on how to prepare the chemical.
Mr Ismail says he had a lot of proposals which he could not do it but will do it as soon as possible.
Mr Emmanuel says the orientation is every important and the channel be put in place.
Mr Musa says the idea of spraying chemicals is highly dangerous to health.
Mr Yusuf says concerning the world malaria day, we should think of the impact and even if it is only 2 persons are impacted, is okay.
Mr Emmanuel asked, the plan of world malaria day if it is for individuals or family.
ACTION PLAN
• Mr Musa suggested Kokotawa community of Bunkure LGA for the world malaria day as he asked to look for person who are from Bunkure for support
• He will also inform the village head of Kokotawa.
• Mr Babatunde is to make enquiries from the community hospital to help in the training.
• Mr Musa is to contact a man from role back malaria to know what is their plan on world malaria day and how can they help us.
• Mr Ismail and Mr. Yusuf is to enquire on the prize of buying and printing T-shirt
• Mr Hezekiah and Mr Sadisu to make enquiries on the time for the world youth service day and give feedback by Sunday 15th April, 2018.
PROJECT
Global youth service day to hold 21st April, 2018 at badawa almajiri school and Mr. Sadisu and Mr Musa are to prepare to take a training or teaching on drugs.
100 almajiri children are budgeted for and rice will be cooked for them with water which is to be given to them.

A.O.B AND CONCLUSION
• Mr. Babatunde, the newly appointed coordinator, appreciated everyone present also he said he is volunteering to make a make a banner.
• The meeting was adjourn by Mr Emmanuel and seconded by Mr Yusuf.
• The next meeting is 5th May, 2018 at state library, kano by 1pm.
• The meeting came to close at 3:20pm with 9 members present.
