Just a few days ago, SI4DEV pledged to partner with Youth Service America and the United Nations Youth, to celebrate the Global Youth Service Day (#GYSD) which holds this year from April 20 – 22, 2018. We plan to coordinate and lead service activities to engage and benefit at least 1000 children, teens and young adults ages 5-25 years old all across Nigeria.
In a lucky coincidence, this is also the period when SI4DEV has just begun supporting teams to procure branded T-shirts for identity while working on SI4DEV projects. So far the coordinators and members of the 6 location groups have met the criteria to be funded and the Benue Makurdi team lead has gone ahead to produce their T-shirts as pictured below.

Special thanks to the 20 location groups who have committed to joining this initiative and the partners who made themselves available for virtual and face to face meetings in the last few days to deliberate on their plans, responsibilities and schedules. In this new week, there will be a lot of meetings, activities, planning, and these will come along with missed targets, frustrations with team members, etc.
